THE STORY BEHIND ELEANOR & FINCH

Women do not lose their sense of style as they grow older. Too often, fashion simply loses sight of them.

For years, I watched women walk into clothing stores filled with choices, yet find very little that truly felt made for them.

The stylish pieces often demanded discomfort. The comfortable ones seemed designed to make women disappear.

I felt that frustration myself.

I did not want to dress younger or follow every passing trend. I simply wanted clothing that felt comfortable, looked beautiful and allowed me to feel completely like myself.

That belief became Eleanor & Finch.

Finch and I created the kind of boutique we felt was missing: personal, considered and welcoming—where women are seen for who they are today.

Because feeling beautiful should never require becoming someone else.

A STANDARD PASSED DOWN

My family taught me that good clothing should serve the woman wearing it, never the other way around.

Choose carefully. Value what lasts. Look for pieces that move with real life and make you feel beautifully put together without sacrificing comfort.

That standard has stayed with me.

It is present in every silhouette we consider, every fabric we touch and every piece we choose for Eleanor & Finch.

This is more than something I inherited. It is something Finch and I now have the privilege of carrying forward.

OUR PLACE BY THE WATER

We chose Newport because life by the harbor reflects everything we want Eleanor & Finch to feel like: timeless, welcoming and quietly beautiful.

Here, the seasons are impossible to ignore. The light changes, the air shifts and each new season brings its own rhythm.

Our collections follow that same rhythm.

We intentionally keep them small, selecting pieces with purpose instead of filling our rails with endless choices. When a new season arrives, we make room for what comes next.

That allows us to give every piece the attention it deserves—and makes choosing something special feel a little easier.

SELECTED FOR REAL LIFE

We look for flattering silhouettes, comfortable fabrics and thoughtful details that work beyond a single occasion.

Clothing for afternoons by the water, dinner with friends, family celebrations and ordinary days when you simply want to feel your best.

We do not believe more choice always means better choice. You should not have to search through hundreds of pieces to find the few that truly work for you.

Choosing those pieces is our responsibility—not yours.

If something does not help you feel comfortable, confident and completely yourself, it does not belong at Eleanor & Finch.
